Absolutely amazing . You feel like family when you dine here . Bill our waiter was fantastic. The food was more than plentiful but even better, it was great! This is now our favorite family restaurant in Sarasota! Pictured below is Bill bringing our food. The seafood dish is Cioppino! Giant shrimp and scallops and lots of little neck and chopped clams ! Wow ! But even more, Steve, Rocco’s dad, is incredible. He runs around the restaurant making sure everyone is happy ! What an amazing place !

I’m from out of town, came to Sarasota to visit my grandmother. My family and I wanted to take her out to eat for dinner before we headed out of town. I’ve been to this restaurant before but it used to be a small pizza joint. This place is wonderful, I was amazed by the transformation they made from pizza joint to Italian restaurant! I am a hospitality worker and I in fact currently work/ manage at a fine dining Italian restaurant. Let me tell you I’m blown away by Bella Vita. The food portions are massive, the food presentation is outstanding with the rolling cart the bring out to the table, some dishes having stable side presentation. And the service is outstanding and the whole staff is hands on deck accommodating to guests at tables. This place is so comforting and so family and friend oriented. If you are in the area and carving Italian food you must try this place! Big shout out to our server Daniel, thank you for taking care of me and my family tonight at dinner!!

If you’re looking for actual authentic Italian food, this is your place! Everyone is super nice and make you feel like family. The owner, Rocco greets everyone and makes sure everyone is happy! It was my husband and I’s first time, and now we’ve finally found a legit Italian spot. We will be back again and again! We ordered the small margarita pizza, lobster ravioli, and pink chicken parm. Everything was phenomenal! The salad and bread is so good and fresh too!
